The Historic Walnut Street
area of Springfield, Missouri provided DCI Construction with one of it?s most unique challenges to date.  Consisting of three historic homes and one historic apartment building this property was literally overgrown with trees, brush and weeds. Directly connected at the back to Missouri State University property this property was an eyesore to one of Springfield?s beautiful historic districts. Raw sewage leaked into some of the apartments, structure issues were found through out. As you look at the before and after photos of this project you will see what a great transition DCI Construction was able to bring to this area. Thirty Two new apartments were constructed within these buildings, a new parking lot added and today this property is the pride of Walnut Street.
